Join the team: new account roles at Wire
We’re on the hunt for a trio of ambitious good eggs who want to craft headline-hitting campaigns and innovative brand stories at one of Scotland’s fastest growing creative agencies.
Read on, if this sounds like you!
After a flurry of award-wins and fresh new clients, we’re on the lookout for a new Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Account Director to join our rapidly expanding team (seriously, we’re running out of mugs).
You’d be joining our ‘Famous’ team to work with some of the most-talented PRs, marketers, and digital experts in Scotland on some of the most exciting accounts in the country. If you’re confident, an excellent communicator, focused on results and ready to take on a challenge, we want to hear from you.
As Account Manager, you'll be a main point of contact for a variety of clients, thinking of new ways to make brands famous and implementing ideas from conception to final wrap-report. A gifted writer, you'll be able to get under the skin of target audiences - creating campaigns that have genuine cut-through and make a real difference, with an enviable little black book of PR contacts that ensures everything you do makes a huge splash.
You’ll ideally have two years of similar PR or marketing agency experience under your belt, but you’ll be working closely with a talented team who will support you in everything you do. We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, a natural communicator, confident with and has a passion for our clients - from music to food and drinks, arts and travel. You’ll get to explore them all during your time at Wire, so a big cultural appetite is a must.
Senior Account Manager
Strategic story-teller with a good few years (and clients) under your belt? Wire depends on our senior account managers to develop and maintain a clear, well-planned, progressive strategy for each and every client. Building strong client relationships, overseeing campaign delivery, and motivating your team to smash your targets are all key aspects of this role, and your only limit will be your own ambition.
New and innovative ideas are a must for our senior account managers. We’ll look to you to pitch to existing clients, as well as potential new clients, so excellent communication, written skills and a confident and assertive attitude are essential. We want you to help drive our reputation as the most talented agency in Scotland.
An experienced Account Director, you’ll have a creatively curious mind and will be dedicated to building brands, breaking stories, and challenging boundaries. Bursting full of game-changing, original ideas, you’ll lead creative campaigns across multiple channels.
Your day-to-day role will be developing clear and well-planned progressive strategies that encourage people to sit up and take notice. You’ll direct their path from first brief to final wrap-report, ensuring each and every one runs smoothly, keeps to a budget, and smashes KPIs. With over four years’ experience working in a similar agency, you’ll have proven experience in devising and delivering big, bold and impactful campaigns – particularly within PR, marketing, advertising or digital.
You’ll be a natural-born leader, meaning your team (and the wider agency) will look to you to inspire, support and lead them to perform at the best of their ability.
You’ll have excellent contacts, but you’ll also act as a key ambassador – working as part of the senior leadership team that shapes and grows Wire to become everything we want to be. The role is one that requires someone with a hands on approach, ability to meet fast deadlines and experience in management.
So, what about Wire?
When we started seven years ago, we set ourselves a goal: to become the most creative and effective marketing agency in Scotland. But goals are nothing without our team and we’re committed to not only attracting the best, but keeping them.
You’ll be pushed to reach your full potential at Wire, and we’ll reward your hard work with a competitive salary, hugely generous holiday allowance, flexible working hours, and all the office niceties you can think of (think dog-friendly spaces, Friday beers and healthy snacks galore). Best of all, you’ll receive constant inspiration in the form of our friendly, talented team – we’re a close group who believe in the power of the bigger picture. The only thing we’re missing is you!
If you think the above sounds like you, drop us your CV and a cover letter to email@example.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
