Never fans of slimming down for the summer, we've decided the season of sparse Scottish sun is a time to widen our belts and grow a little. With lots of new work, new clients, and exciting new projects, we're on the hunt for a creative content maker who can turn far-off ideas and big concepts into visual wonders - whether it's video, imagery for social media, or something completely unexpected.
Based in Glasgow, you'll be working on a wealth of exciting projects for some of Scotland's best-known brands, meaning you'll be quick-off-the-mark and used to a fast-paced environment. We’re more interested in your drive than hard stats alone but, ideally, you'll have at least 2-3 years' experience in a creative content role (most likely within a similar agency environment) with a firm grasp on making the most innovative reactive videos and posts.
A natural self-starter, you'll be a crucial part of our ever-expanding Creative team and will report directly to our Head of Design. However, you'll also work closely alongside our digital team to create assets and strategy, meaning previous experience online is advantageous.
For us, your personality is more important than the paper, but we think you might have the following:
Video content creation
Solid video production skills including planning, storyboarding, filming and directing shoots - you'll be heading video for one of the country's fastest-growing agencies meaning there'll never be a dull day and you'll always find a new way to be inspired.
We'll also expect you to have a good understanding of the equipment needed on shoots; from lighting to sound - with an ability to edit to a high standard. Animation experience in particular will help you go far, so we'll also be eager to see previous use of After Effects, Premier Pro and Final cut Pro - with further experience with Cinema 4D or other 3D packages a huge bonus.
Social media content creation
We're proud of our enviable client list - but with great clients comes great responsibility. We'll need you to be up to speed with social platforms and the requirements of content; from the video lengths and structures that work best on Instagram, to nailing the 20% text rule for Facebook adverts.
With proven experience of Photoshop and InDesign, you'll have a strong eye for translating core messages into outstanding social content and will be eager to join in strategy and planning sessions. It's not just the agency that's growing quickly, your role will be too - the sky's the limit in terms of your ambition.
Reactive social media and PR content creation
In the digital age, a story can disappear as quickly as it appears - so you need to be well-versed in reactive thinking and speedy content production. With an interest in culture and current affairs, you'll be quick off the mark in thinking of on-brand ideas and turning them into viral visuals.
Ideation, communication and presentation
We have huge ambitions for your role and we hope you do too - we want you to be an integral part of our happy family and create incredible work that gets us noticed. However, we don’t want to leave you behind a desk - we want to use your bright brain in everything from brainstorming sessions, to presentations and make sure you're at the forefront of everything we do in terms of content.
